James Dunne

James Dunne was born in 'Arklow Rock' (Rock Big) on 15 August 1894, the son of Peter Dunne and Catherine Kavanagh. His birth was registered by his mother, Catherine, on 29 August 1894.

At six years old, James was recorded at home in House 9, Rock Big, living with his parents and siblings.

1911 Census

By 1911, sixteen-year-old James was living in Rock Big with his widowed mother, Catherine, and his brothers.
