Elizabeth Kavanagh was born on 13th November 1902 at Wicklow Terrace, Ferrybank, Arklow, to John (Jack) Kavanagh and Julia Loughlin.
Her birth was registered on 29th December 1902 by her mother, Julia.
By 1911, the family had moved to Money Big, where Elizabeth was listed residing in a three-roomed, slate-roofed house alongside her parents and siblings; John, Terence, Maria, Thomas, Esther, Annie and Maryanne.
On 17th July 1935, Elizabeth married James Doyle at the Roman Catholic Church of Arklow.
At the time of their marriage, Elizabeth was working in domestic service and residing at Vale Road, Arklow, while James, a labourer, was living at 4 St. Patrick's Terrace.
The ceremony was officiated by Fr Denis Daly, with Elizabeth's siblings, Thomas Kavanagh and Esther Kavanagh, standing as witnesses.
